I just need a quick session for a new Linked-In profile pic - Is that something you offer?
Absolutely! A good Linked-In profile makes a good first impression. We can tailor your headshot session to be time efficient and you'll be able to choose the photo(s) you want at the end of the shoot. Your favorite photo will be included and any additional photos can be purchased!
Do you have a physical studio?
For local clients looking for headshots, we have a home studio available. But we primarily travel to you! For indoor shoots, we will bring lighting equipment to your location and set up a temporary studio. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and we can figure out the best option for you.
What makes for a successful photoshoot?
Before the shoot:
Planning! Before every session, we will have a consultation call that provides the opportunity for us to get to know each other while also going over the little details (props, colors, types of scenery/locations) that really make a session uniquely your own.
During the shoot:
Having fun! Photos are memories and it's our job to capture those memories for you! That in itself is incredibly special and we always feel privileged that we get to be part of that small moment in your lives! Come ready to laugh and be yourself!
After the shoot:
Post-production takes just as much time as the session itself (if not longer). So you get to sit back, relax (or gear up and jump back into your daily routine), while we fine tune those photos into memories that you can share and cherish forever.  We will be in touch with you when your digital photos are ready to be delivered!
Do you offer custom sessions, i.e., something that might be a little out of the ordinary?
Yes! Of course! All of our shoots are custom tailored to every client, so contact us and we can discuss what you had in mind. Most likely, we can figure out a custom session that works specifically for you and your vision!

If our availabilities do not match, or if a custom request is too specialized for us to effectively accomplish, we can connect you to other professionals who can help you actualize your vision.
What if I own a nice camera... couldn't I let a friend borrow it to take my photos and save some money?
You absolutely could do that. Nothing is stopping you. But I promise you, it's not the same... and the fact that you're reading this on our photography webpage tells me that you also know this to be true.  Nonetheless, if you're still looking for validation, We've got two main reasons.
First: Quality and Experience.
This is what we do. We love doing this. We find passion and joy in this.  More importantly, we get paid to do this over and over and over again. And it shows. Look at the following pictures.
You'll get a behind-the-scene glimpse of what goes into taking some of these photos during and after the shoot.  Obviously the color is the most noticeable difference, but also notice the exposure, the lighting, the framing of the shot (composition) and the angles. These are all the little details that make huge differences and the reality is that most "friends-with-a-camera" aren't going to be able to achieve the same look. I'll let the photos speak for themselves after this next section.
Second: Invite loved ones to celebrate alongside you.
In our experience, it's better to allow loved ones to celebrate with & alongside you instead of from behind the camera. While we are definitely quite invested in your special moment, we won't be distracted by the festivities and accidentally miss out key photographic moments because we were too busy with participating with the festivities and excitement of the moment!
So let your loved ones be part of your special moment and let us worry about capturing the memories that y'all are actively living in!
