Family Sessions

The people who matter most, captured at their most real.

What to expect

No stiff poses. Just your family, being your family.

Family portrait sessions in Orlando typically run 45–60 minutes and can take place outdoors, at your home, or in-studio. We photograph throughout Central Florida — parks, beaches, backyards, wherever your family actually lives.

The secret to great family photos is a relaxed photographer who knows how to work with real people — including kids who won't sit still and dads who hate having their photo taken. We've got you covered.

Sessions are fun, easy, and designed to get you the kind of photos that actually end up on your walls — not just in a folder on your phone.

Common questions

Family Session FAQs

How long does a family photo session take?

Most sessions run 45–60 minutes. Extended family or multigenerational sessions may run slightly longer. We never rush — the goal is genuine shots, not just checking a box.

When is the best time for outdoor family photos in Orlando?

Golden hour — 60–90 minutes before sunset — gives the softest, most flattering natural light. Fall and winter (October through February) also offer cooler Orlando temperatures that make outdoor sessions far more comfortable.

What should we wear?

Coordinate, don't match. Pick a palette of 2–3 tones and let everyone interpret it. Avoid busy patterns and logos. Comfort matters most — if the kids are uncomfortable, it shows.

Can you photograph large extended families?

Yes. We photograph immediate families, extended families, multigenerational gatherings, and reunion groups. We handle the logistics so you don't have to.

How far in advance should I book?

4–6 weeks in advance for a specific date. Holiday season (October–December) books up fast — reach out early if you need photos before the end of the year.
